This project focuses on developing a novel high-throughput screening platform for drug discovery in cardiac fibrosis area that measures the physiological properties of live, engineered tissue samples, and their controls, cultured in 96-well format (the Palpator™ system).

December 5-9th, InvivoSciences, LLC displayed its products and technology at the American Society for Cell Biology's 49th Annual Meeting. The ASCB conference attracts scientists and students in academia, industry and the government from the U.S. as well as internationally.
Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton today commended InvivoSciences LLC., a women-led bioscience company based in Wauwatosa, for its selection as one of the top three most promising technologies in the United States at the Worlds Best Technology Showcase (WBTshowcase) in Arlington, Texas. Investors, licensing scouts and tech-commercialization experts from across the country selected InvivoSciences from a pool of 450 technology companies to receive its gold prize. InvivoSciences earned additional recognition last month when Bioforward selected it as the winner of its 2009 Emerging Biotechnology Showcase.
Invivosciences LLC received its Emerging Technology Award from Dick Leinenkugel, Wisconsin Secretary of the Department of Commerce, during BioForward Wisconsin Vision 2010 summit.
InvivoSciences, LLC was recently selected as a winner of the Emerging Company Showcase awarded by BioForward of Wisconsin. The company was one of six companies to receive this scholarship award to represent Wisconsin at the Biotechnology Vision Summit on October 7, 2009 at the Madison Marriott West hotel.

InvivoSciences was among the top 3 award winners at the showcase. The company was selected by investors, licensees, and tech-commercialization experts to receive the "gold" award.

The Chief Scientific Officer of InvivoSciences was invited to talk about IVS' technology at the Cellutions SUMMIT in Boston (Aug 11-13). His presentation on Aug 12 was entitled "Engineered Heart Tissue Based High Throughput Phenotyping and Toxicology Testing for Drug Discovery."
